When combing your bundles, start at the end of your hair with the middle of the clusters in hand. When deep conditioning hair, you may use a sulfate-free shampoo instead of a conditioner. Rinse out with lukewarm water after applying deep conditioner to your hair and combing it through before placing it in a plastic bag for thirty minutes.

After rinsing out, apply a leave-in conditioner and allow your hair to air dry or style as usual. You may notice that your curls are more defined when your hair is styled while it is still damp. When using conditioners, apply them sparingly with the oil. If necessary, use a paddle brush to untangle your hair after drying it on a hanger. Blow dry your curly hair in a cold setting for definition. To keep curls hydrated; mix leave-in conditioner and water in a spray bottle and spritz it throughout.
